The Grenadines are 32 islands and cays stretching from the main island of St. Vincent in the north to Grenada in the south. They form one nation, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and are truly blessed with some of the most beautiful scenery, friendliest people and largest variety of habitats in the Caribbean.

All of these islands are close by and each is different from the next, no two are alike. With crystal clear waters, deserted sandy beaches, lush rainforests and the magnificent marine park of the Tobago Cays these islands one of the best vacation destinations in the world.

St. Vincent the largest of these islands (25 miles x 11 miles) is dominated by an awe inspiring volcano in the north. It is a rugged mountainous island covered in lush tropical foliage and rainforests.

The fertile soils are ideal for farming and agriculture is a main stay here. From tropical flowers for export to mountainous slopes covered with bananas, St. Vincent is an agricultural powerhouse.

With rivers, waterfalls, rainforest hiking trails, a volcano you can climb, secluded bays and superb diving it is a premiere eco-travel destination. It is for those who appreciate unspoiled natural beauty, pristine coral reefs and waters teeming with rich and exotic marine life.

Mustique is a world famous private island home to the rich and famous. Just a few miles from St. Vincent but a totally different world and a totally different experience.

The Mustique Company that runs the island caters to those who want absolute privacy in a beautiful tropic environment. Here you will find some magnificent private villas of many well know celebrities and famous business people. The island only has two hotels and is for those looking for privacy and luxury. There a number of beaches and a pretty harbor where many sailors anchor for the night.

Here you will find the famous Basil's Bar and a great mix of people from all over the world enjoying a night of revelry.

Bequia is equidistant from St. Vincent and Mustique but again is totally different form both. A sleepy little island where time seems to stand still. Mountainous and green with many excellent white sandy beaches life here is mostly orientated towards the sea.

Bequia has been described as how the Caribbean was 20 years ago. Many visitors to Bequia are people who have been coming year after year. Once they have discovered this island they don't want to go anywhere else.

It is for those who want to have a relaxing vacation with great beaches in an environment that doesn't really exist most places any more, undeveloped and uncommercialised.

Canouan is unspoiled and virtually undiscovered, one of the Caribbean’s most up and coming luxury destinations. Located in the heart of the Grenadines, less than 20 miles south of Mustique and 110 miles west of Barbados, the island is surrounded by small bays and coves, secluded white sand beaches and one of the Caribbean’s largest coral reefs.

Opened in July 2004 the ultra luxurious Raffles Resort and Casino offers world class accommodations and service helping to establish Canouan as one of the Caribbean's best luxury destinations. The resort is home to the Trump International Golf Club. An exhilarating and challenging Jim Fazio designed 18 hole championship golf course set on dramatic sloping hills along the ocean shore.

Union Island, the hub of the southern Grenadines, is the stopping point for yachtsmen and visitors heading to the smaller islands. This picturesque island with its dramatic peaks lies forty miles from St. Vincent. The small, commercial town of Clifton is built around the harbor and is the main entry point to the island.

Union Island features several beachfront inns, all with a simple, relaxed lifestyle. Union Island is the Southernmost of the Grenadines. Due to its dramatic silhouette, Union is also called by some the Tahiti of the West Indies. Its location just a few miles from the Tobago Cays, Mayreau and Petit St. Vincent has made it the ideal starting point for day charters to these islands.

#Mayreau, one of the smaller Grenadines, is a privately owned island with few residents. Salt Whistle Bay Resort, the only hotel, welcomes guests and can be reached by boat from Union Island. Mayreau lies west of the Tobago Cays. The island is rimmed by magnificent sweeping white sandy beaches perfect for sailing and snorkeling.

The Tobago Cays The huge Horseshoe Reef that surrounds these four, deserted islets with their dreamlike rustling palms provides some of the best snorkelling and diving in the world. The brilliant white sands, coloured waters shaded in unimaginable blues, and the neon marine life give true meaning to the stop-the-world-I-want-to-get-off Caribbean fantasy.

The Cays have been declared a wildlife reserve by the government, and are accessable only by boat. No trip to the Grenadines is complete without a trip to this stunning area.

Petit St.Vincent (PSV) lies 40 miles south of St.Vincent, is a paradise of softly rolling hills spread over 113 acres surrounded by two miles of white sand beaches, PSV has been tamed just enough to allow for the presence of 22 discreet and simple, yet luxurious cottages. Lying well off the tourist mainstream, PSV could be best described by what is not there. There is no airport, no formal check in, no keys. There are no televisions nor are there telephones in the cottages.

Above all however, there is privacy. Here, amid untouched nature and surrounded by warm, crystal-clear, turquoise water, one senses that the island is one’s own.

Palm Island. Originally known as Prune Island, Palm got its current name when former owners, the late John Caldwell (a.k.a Johnny Coconuts) and his wife Mary, planted hundreds of coconut palms, transforming the deserted island into a palm covered resort.

Now a private all-inclusive resort where tranquility reigns, Palm Island is the perfect getaway for people who love natural beauty and want to escape from it all. Surrounded by crystal clear waters and five sparkling white beaches, one of the favourites being Casuarina Beach, which runs the entire length of the western coastline.
